人畜因触及较高电压，体内电流超过一定限度而引起体内器官机能失常。触电后常有抽搐、皮肤灼伤、休克、昏迷、呼吸停止等症状，严重的会造成死亡。发现触电，应立即切断电源，进行抢救。

1. 人或动物接触较强电流。机体触电会受到破坏，甚至死亡。亦比喻受到强烈的刺激。
