一种慢性病。在遗传或不良环境因素作用下，体内胰腺中的胰岛素分泌不足，引起糖代谢紊乱，糖分从尿中排出体外。主要症状是多尿、多饮、多食、疲乏、消瘦等。易并发动脉硬化、视力障碍、皮肤化脓感染等。

1. 慢性病。主要因胰腺中胰岛素分泌不足所致。早期无症状，晚期典型病例有多尿、多饮、多食、消瘦、疲乏等症状。
