也叫卷扬机。升降或牵引重物的一种机械。由可旋转的卷筒、传动装置、制动器和动力部分组成。动力经过传动装置带动卷筒旋转，缠绕绳索或链条来升降或牵引重物。

1. 一种起重装置。通常作牵引之用。今称卷扬机。
