1. 对老人的尊称。

2. 对人称自己的父亲。

   宋 梅尧臣 《汝坟贫女》诗：“ 汝 坟贫家女，行哭音悽愴，自言有老父，孤独无丁壮。”《水浒传》第三五回：“不孝逆子，做下非为，老父身亡，不能尽人子之道，畜生何异！”
