1. 亦作“闲暇”。平安无事。

   《孟子·公孙丑上》：“今国家閒暇，及是时般乐怠敖，是自求祸也。” 宋 李纲 《奉诏条具边防利害奏状》：“大概近年所操之説有二：闲暇则以和议为得计，而以治兵为失策；仓卒则以退避为爱君，而以进御为误国。” 姚雪垠 《李自成》第一卷第二七章：“年年春天， 李自成 都是在马鞍上和战争中度过，从没有像今年春天这么安静和闲暇。”

2. 泛指闲空；没有事的时候。
