也作日蚀。由月球遮掩太阳光射向地球而引起的现象。月球运行到地球和太阳的中间并成一线时，太阳的光被月亮挡住，地球表面上某些地区短时间内看不到太阳，这种现象叫日食。太阳全部被月球遮住时叫日全食；部分被遮住时叫日偏食；中央部分被遮住时叫日环食。日食发生在农历初一前后。

1. 月球运行到地球和太阳的中间时，太阳的光被月球挡住，不能射到地球上来，这种现象叫日食。太阳全部被月球挡住时叫日全食，部分被挡住时叫日偏食，中央部分被挡住时叫日环食。日食都发生在农历初一。
