埋葬死人的穴和上面的坟头。

1. 古时称墓之封土成丘者为坟，平者为墓；对称有别，合称相通。后指埋葬死人的穴和上面的坟头。常特指祖坟。

   《周礼·地官·大司徒》：“安万民，一曰媺宫室，二曰族坟墓。”《史记·郦生陆贾列传》：“足下中国人，亲戚昆弟坟墓在 真定 。”《南史·虞寄传》：“且兵革已后，人皆厌乱，其孰能弃坟墓，捐妻子，出万死不顾之计，从将军於白刃之间乎？”《二十年目睹之怪现状》第九四回：“你看筑起铁路来，坟墓也要迁让呢，何况祠堂！” 魏巍 《东方》第六部第十一章：“ 杨雪 的坟墓就在 松风里 的南山上。”

2. 古星名。属危宿，共四星。

   《星经》：“坟墓四星，在危下。”《隋书·天文志中》：“虚南二星曰哭，哭东二星曰泣，泣、哭皆近坟墓。”
