1.一个物体按某种规律运动时，它所经过的路线就是这个物体运动的轨迹。如人造地球卫星按计划运行的路线，就是它的轨迹。几何学中，把所有满足某种条件的点所构成的图形叫做具有这种性质的点的轨迹。

2.比喻人生经历的或事物发展的道路。

1. 亦作“ 轨跡 ”。途径。

   汉 贾谊 《新书·保傅》：“ 秦 之亟絶者，其轨迹可见也；然而不避，是后车又覆也。” 汉 司马相如 《封禅文》：“故轨跡夷易，易遵也。” 郭沫若 《沸羹集·序＜念词与朗诵＞》：“但这变化是循着一定的轨迹而前进，却是毫无可疑。”

2. 犹故辙，往迹。

   《汉书·刘向传》：“遵衰 周 之轨迹，循诗人之所刺。”《三国志·蜀志·先主传》：“大王袭先帝轨跡，亦兴於 汉中 也。” 晋 袁宏 《三国名臣序赞》：“忠存轨迹，义形风色。”《宋书·礼志三》：“ 太祖文皇帝 以启遘泰运，景望震凝，采乐调风，集体宣度，祖宗相映，轨迹重暉。”

3. 指轨道。参见“ 轨道 ”。

4. 数学名词。某点适合一定的条件而运动时，它所通过的全部路径叫做这点的“轨迹”。
