人类居住的星球。太阳系九大行星之一。以距离太阳由近及远的次序计是第三颗。和太阳的平均距离为14 960万千米；赤 道半径6 378千米，极半径6 357千米。平均密度是水的5.5倍。公转周期约365.25日，自转周期约23时56 分。地球有一颗卫星，即月球。

1. 亦作“ 地毬 ”。太阳系中接近太阳的第三颗行星，形状象球而略扁，周围有大气层包围着，表面是陆地和海洋，有人类和动植物生存。
