汉语拼音：hàn qīng

古代用来记事的竹简，是用青竹烤去水分做成的。烤时竹子上冒出的水像汗一样，所以古人称竹简为汗青。后用来泛指书籍史册。宋文天祥《过零丁洋》诗：“人生自古谁无死，留取丹心照汗青。”

1. 古时在竹简上记事，先以火烤青竹，使水分如汗渗出，便于书写，并免虫蛀，故称。一说，取竹青浮滑如汗，易于改抹。后以“汗青”指著述完成。

   宋 朱熹 《答严时亭书》：“当时若得 时亭 诸友在近相助，当亦汗青有期也。” 清 平步青 《霞外攟屑·里事·王南陔中丞恭甫上舍著述》：“卷帙繁伙，汗青恐无日也。” 康有为 《大同书》甲部第一章：“或辛勤著述而欲亲覩其汗青，或经营工业而指垂成于旦夕。”参见“ 汗青头白 ”。

2. 借指史册。

   宋 文天祥 《过零丁洋》诗：“人生自古谁无死，留取丹心照汗青。” 元 鲜于必仁 《寨儿令》曲：“ 汉 子陵 ， 晋 渊明 ，二人到今香汗青。” 清 唐孙华 《叶忠节公挽诗》：“芳名垂汗青，千载永不灭。”
