贴在灯上的谜 语。猜灯谜是中国一种传统的娱乐活动，喜庆日子的晚上把谜语贴在花灯上，供人猜测。

1. 用精炼词语为谜面粘贴于花灯上(有时也贴于墙上)供人猜射的一种娱乐形式。是一种文义谜，与事物谜的民间谜语略有不同。相传谜格有24种(一说18种)。常用的有卷帘、徐妃、拆字、解铃、系铃、秋千等格。
