1. 帝王的诰敕文词。

   唐 刘禹锡 《唐故中书侍郎平章事韦公集纪》：“虽官为中书舍人，或他官知制誥，第用其班次耳，不窜言於训词。” 宋 刘挚 《再辞免右仆射表》：“辞受非轻，殫愚诚而自列；训词申敕，邈天听之逾高。” 明 何良俊 《四友斋丛说·文》：“此（指誥敕）是皇帝语，即所谓口代天言者，古人谓之训词。”

2. 旧指上对下教导和告诫的话。

   冰心 《离家的一年》：“校长的训词，他听得不甚清楚，只抬头看着墙上的照片。”
