The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. Then he asked who he was and what he had done.
于是千夫长上前拿住他,吩咐用两条铁链捆锁;又问他是什麽人,做的是什麽事。And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee?

于是把他领去见千夫长说,被囚的保罗请我到他那里,求我领这少年人来见你。他有事告诉你。Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea.
千夫长就来问保罗说,你告诉我,你是罗马人吗。保罗说,是。And the commander answered, With a large sum of money I acquired this citizenship. And Paul said, But I was even born a Roman.
千夫长回答说,我用许多银子,才取得这公民权。保罗说,我生来就是。
