迷信的人在锅灶附近供的神，认为他掌管一家的祸福财气。也叫灶君、灶王爷。见〖祭灶〗。

1. 旧俗供于灶上的神。传说灶神于农历腊月二十三日至除夕上天陈报人家善恶。
