   唐 韩愈 《送侯参谋赴河中幕》诗：“策马谁可适，晤言谁为应。”《西游记》第六二回：“长老策马，须臾到门。” 峻青 《傲霜篇》：“在昏暗的夜里，在飒飒的寒风中，我们离开了温暖的家庭，辞别了老人，策马上路了。”

2. 古占星家用语。常与“王良”连用。意谓“王良主天马之星也。其动策马则车骑盈野。车骑盈野者，喻刀兵之乱也。”见《论衡·变动》“王良策马，车骑盈野” 刘盼遂 集解引 孙蜀丞 注。一说，策马亦星名。

   《史记·天官书》：“汉中四星，曰天駟。旁一星，曰王良。王良策马，车骑满野。” 张守节 正义：“策一星，在王良前，主天子僕也…… 桓帝 当南郊，平明应出， 腾 （ 周腾 ）仰观，曰：‘夫王者象星，今宫中星及策马星悉不动，上明日必不出。’”
