汉语拼音：bīng báo

简称雹。在发展很盛的积雨云中，气流强烈上升，温度在0℃以下但尚未冻结的小水滴碰撞冰晶，冻结成小冰球（小雹），小冰球下降后遇较强气流顶托，因反复升降而增大，落到地面称为雹。降雹时间一般不长，但破坏力很大。常见于夏季和春秋季。

1. 空中降下的冰块，多在晚春和夏季伴同雷阵雨出现。又称做雹，或雹子。
