多年生草本植物。茎、根入药，有泻火凉血、活血祛瘀等作用。小剂量可用于健胃。炮制后称熟大黄。

1. 弓名。

2. 药草名。也叫“川军”。多年生草本，分布于我国 湖北 、 陕西 、 四川 、 云南 等省。根茎可入药，性寒，味苦，功能攻积导滞、泻火解毒，主治实热便秘，腹痛胀满、瘀血闭经、痈肿等症。
