1. 同车辆底盘构成一体自身能运动的火炮。自行火炮主要由武器系统、底盘部分和装甲车体组成。自行火炮除按炮种分类外，还可按行动装置的结构形式分为履带式、轮胎式和半履带式；按装甲防护分为全装甲式（封闭式）、半装甲式（半封闭式）和敞开式。全装甲式车体通常是密闭的，具有对核武器、化学武器和生物武器的防护能力。
