又称冷冻剂”。制冷装置所使用的工作介质。通常为低沸点类物质。工作时在低压、低温条件下由液体蒸发成蒸汽(从冷物体中吸取热量)，又在较高压力、温度下由蒸汽重新冷凝为液体(向环境排出热量)，如此反覆循环。主要的制冷剂有十多种，应用较广的为氟利昂和氨等。
