《诗经·大雅·板》：“多将熇（hè）熇，不可救药。” 原意是说周厉王多行酷烈之暴政，就像重病人一样，不能再医治了。后泛指病重到无药可治。也比喻人或事物已经坏到不能挽救的地步。
