也称学院主义”。17世纪产生于欧洲各国官办美术学院中的画派。以法国影响最大。该派画家重视技巧的训练，尤重素描，严格遵循古典艺术的条规，追求繁琐、浮华的细节。作品主要取材于宗教传说和神话故事。代表人物有法国的勒布朗、席罗姆等。
