5. 指正道。

   《易·离》：“柔丽乎中正。” 高亨 注：“象人有柔和之德，附丽于正道。”《楚辞·离骚》：“跪敷衽以陈辞兮，耿吾既得此中正。” 王逸 注：“中心晓明得此中正之道。” 晋 傅玄 《傅子·检商贾》：“夫 神农 正其纲，先之以无欲，而咸安其道， 周 综其目，壹之以中正，而民不越。”

6. 官名。

   秦 末 陈胜 自立为 楚王 时置，掌纠察群臣的过失。《史记·陈涉世家》：“ 陈王 以 朱房 为中正， 胡武 为司过，主司羣臣。” 三国 魏 立中正以藻别人物， 晋 南北朝 仍之， 唐 废。《晋书·刘毅传》：“愚臣以为宜罢中正，除九品，弃 魏氏 之弊法，立一代之美制。” 宋 王谠 《唐语林·文学》：“近代有中正。中正，乡曲之表也。藻别人物，知其乡中贤愚出处。”
