也叫鲮鲤。哺乳动物。全身有瓦状的角质鳞。前肢的爪特别锐利，适于掘土。无齿，主食蚁类。分布于中国南方。是中国国家重点保护动物。

1. 哺乳动物。体和尾被有覆瓦状的角质鳞。头呈圆锥形，吻尖，口、耳和眼较小。无齿，舌细长，伸缩自如。四肢较短，爪长而尖锐有力，用以刨土觅食或掘洞穴居。产于我国 长江 以南及 越南 、 缅甸 等地。鳞片可入药，主治恶疮、疯症、乳汁不通等症。
