显示随时间变化的电量波形的仪器。由宽带放大器和扫描系统等组成。同时显示两个波形用双线示波器；脉冲示波器可显示前沿很陡的波形；为显示频率低于1赫的波形可采用慢扫描示波器，有时还需用长余辉示波管。
