汉语拼音:héng xīng

由炽热气体组成的、能自己发光的天体。夜空中所见的星星,绝大多数是恒星。恒星也在不断地运动,只是由于离地球太远,在短时期内感觉不到它们之间相互位置的改变,故名。太阳是距离地球最近的恒星。

  1. 自身能发光、发热的天体。因短时间内难以觉察其位置的变化,故名。按亮度、光度可分为多种等级。

    中国 古代称二十八宿为“恆星”。亦泛指常见的星宿。《春秋·庄公七年》:“夏四月辛卯,夜,恆星不见。”《公羊传·庄公七年》:“恆星者何?列星也。” 徐彦 疏:“天之常宿,故经谓之恆星矣。言以时列见于天,故传谓之列星矣。”《明史·天文志一》:“由今考之,恆星实有动移,其説不谬。”
