1. 指自己。

   清 谭嗣同 《怪石歌》：“自我钦之若危岫，浊酒以酹歌以侑。” 瞿秋白 《赤都心史》三三：“有人既发展自我的个性，又能排除一切妨碍他的主观的困难而进取，屈伸自如，从容自在。”

2. 谓自己对自己。

   毛泽东 《关于正确处理人民内部矛盾的问题》一：“这种教育工作是人民内部的自我教育工作，批评和自我批评的方法就是自我教育的基本方法。”

3. 自己肯定自己。

4. 相偶；相依。自，犹相。

   宋 苏轼 《戏书乐天身心问答后》诗：“ 渊明 形神自我， 乐天 身心相物。”
