智力商数，个人智力水平的数量化指标。把一个年龄组或团体的平均智商定为100，通过测验和计算得出个人的智商数，分数越高，表明一个人智力水平越高，70以下表明智力有缺陷。

1. 心理学家用来表示3－16岁少年儿童智力发展的相对数据。它是由智力年龄除以实足年龄，乘以100这个公式而得到的。智力年龄是儿童智力发展水平的标志。在智力测验中，一个实足年龄为5岁的儿童在5岁组测验及格，而在6岁组不及格，那么他的智力年龄就是5岁，他的智商就是5÷5×100＝100。如果他在6岁组测验也能及格，而在7岁组测验不及格，那么他的智力年龄便是6岁，他的智商就是6÷5×100＝120。智商在120以上的，被认为是聪明儿童。在80以下的，被认为是愚笨儿童。智商达到170的，便被认为是天才儿童。但是，由于智力测验的内容往往不能完全适合在不同环境中成长的儿童，因此智商只能大体上反映生活条件、环境大体相同的儿童的智力差别，很难作为最后判断儿童智力的依据。
