一种高速船舶。用空气螺旋桨或水下螺旋桨推进，并由压气机将压缩空气自船底射出，使船底与水面或地面间形成气垫，以减少航行阻力。两栖性气垫船可以登陆或在冰上、沙漠上、卵石上以及沼泽地区航行。

气垫船 [qì diàn chuán]

1. 气垫船在船身下方有一利用柔性材料所制成的围裙，经由不断的供应高压空气到围裙内，便会产生气垫，使船身能脱离水面成地面航行，因为船身不与水面接触，所以气垫船的航速可以比传统船舶高数倍。气垫船除了可在水面航行外，也可以在沙滩及其它平坦的地面上航行。
