汉语拼音：zhū shā

也叫辰砂、丹砂。无机化合物。主要成分是硫化汞。大红色，不溶于水。中医用作镇静剂，外用可以治疗疥癣等皮肤病。是炼汞的重要原料，也可制颜料。

1. 朱砂:1.矿物名。又称“丹砂”、“硃砂”、“辰砂”。为古代方士炼丹的主要原料，也可制作颜料、药剂。

3. 硃砂:亦作“ 硃沙 ”。矿物名。旧称丹砂。炼汞的主要原料。色鲜红。可作颜料，亦供药用。以 湖南 辰州 产者为最佳，故又称辰砂。
