印度传统宗教之一。耆那”是创教者筏驮摩那的称号，意为胜利者”或完成修行的人”。公元前6世纪与佛教同时兴起，自称是最古老的宗教。主要经典为《十二支》。否定婆罗门教的吠陀天启说及其权威，主张五戒不杀生、不妄语、不偷盗、不淫、无所得，实行苦行主义。主要派别有白衣派和空衣派(天衣派)。教徒有出家和在家之分。19世纪以来流传到亚、非、欧等国家。
