对人的能力差异的测量。心理测验之一。分为普通能力测验和特殊能力测验两种。一般是测量个人已有的知识、经验与技能水平，即实际能力；对个人能力的发展方向，即潜在能力的测量，则称为能力倾向测验，但两者并无严格的界限。
