正常视力的人能将规定的目标物从背景中区别出来的最大距离。一般分为地面能见度和空中能见度。前者对飞机的起飞和着陆，以及对海、陆交通运输等有很大的影响；后者对航空影响较大。影响能见度的气象因素主要有雾、霾、风沙、浮尘、雪、毛毛雨等。
