(pearlbuck,1892_1973)美国作家。女。原名珀尔·赛登斯特里克·布克。父母为传教士，自幼随父母侨居中国。1927年回美国。著有长篇小说《大地》、《儿子们》、《分家》等，均取材于中国，但并未正确反映中国社会的真实面貌。曾将中国小说《水浒》译成英文。获1938年诺贝尔文学奖。
