以竹木作骨架，外蒙皮革的船。皮革可用牛、羊或马皮等。顺流时用桨操纵，逆水不能航行，经陆路运回。皮革船体浸水后软而滑、耐碰撞，适用于流急、礁多、水浅的河道。现黄河和西藏雅鲁藏布江上游地区仍有使用。
