苗、侗、水、彝、仡佬、拉祜等族簧管乐器。由笙管、笙斗和簧片三部分构成。常用的装有用芦竹制成的笙管六根，外侧开有按音孔，下端装置铜簧，插入一长形木斗或葫芦内，每管一音。在每二、三根笙管上端，合套竹管作为共鸣管。芦笙音色明亮浑厚，民间常用以伴奏芦笙舞。
