汉语拼音：lì kè cì tǐ

一类大小介于病毒和细菌之间的微生物。由美国病理学家立克次首先描述，故名。一般呈杆状或球状，在光学显微镜下可见到。通常寄生于啮齿动物(如老鼠)和虱、蚤、蜱、恙螨等节肢动物体内，以此为媒介在人和动物中传播疾病，如斑疹伤寒等。
