封建主占有和经营的大片地产，包括一个或若干个村庄，基本上是自给自足的经济单位。以欧洲中世纪早期的封建领主庄园最典型，我国封建时代皇室、贵族、大地主、寺院等占有和经营的大田庄，也有叫庄园的。
