1. 古代指凤凰。

   《文选·左思＜魏都赋＞》：“云雀踶甍而矫首，壮翼摛鏤於青霄。” 吕向 注：“云雀，凤也……言作凤於簷，踏立而举首也。”

2. 即天鹨。也称“告天子。”羽毛赤褐色，有黑色斑纹，嘴小而尖，翅膀大，飞得高，声音好听。
