中国神话人物。相传尧时十日并出，植物枯死，猛兽长蛇为害。羿射去九日，射杀猛兽长蛇，为民除害。嫦娥为其妻。羿（yì）。

1. 上古夷族的首领，善射。相传 夏太康 沉湎于游乐， 羿 推翻其统治，自立为君，号 有穷氏 。不久因喜狩猎，不理民事，为其臣 寒浞 所杀。见《书·五子之歌》、《左传·襄公四年》、《楚辞·离骚》、《史记·吴世家》。古代神话又谓 尧 时十日并出，植物枯死，封豕长蛇为害，羿射去九日，射杀封豕长蛇，民赖以安。见《淮南子·本经训》、《淮南子·览冥训》。
