地下岩体、地层和矿床等露出地表的部分。可分为天然露头和人工露头。野外地质观察中直接或间接地反映了岩石性质、地层产状、地壳变动及矿产蕴藏等情况。

1. 岩石、矿脉和矿床露出地面的部分。矿床的露头是矿床存在的直接标记。也叫矿苖。
