一种冷藏装置，在隔热的柜子中装有盘曲的管道，电动机带动压缩机，使冷凝剂在管道中循环产生低温。电冰箱中低温在0℃以下的部分叫做冷冻室，在0℃以上的部分叫做冷藏室。简称冰箱。

1. 冷藏物品的电气器具。通常利用液态制冷剂(如氟利昂－12)的蒸发吸收热量以获得低温；变成气体后的制冷剂，再通过压缩机恢复液态，从而达到循环工作的目的。家用电冰箱常见的由冷冻室和冷藏室两部分组成。根据箱门多少有单门电冰箱、双门电冰箱和三门电冰箱等。
